Sunday…oh Sunday…why do you haunt my dreams!”
I don’t know about you but for me, Sunday is THE hardest day of the week for me when it comes to picking out my outfit. Maybe it’s because I’m limited in what I feel I can wear. I belong to a traditional church where it’s uncommon for women to wear pants. This means my outfits are limited to skirts and dress, thereby eliminating half of my wardrobe. You’d think that it would also eliminate half the fuss because I’d have half to choose from…FALSE. It makes it all the more complicated because certain skirts only go with certain tops, do I wear stockings or dont I, and don’t even get me started on Sundays when we have two services. Not to mention that every first Sunday I’m supposed to wear white. I guess I have to admit that most of this hassle is unnecessary pressure that I put on myself. After all, I’m not going to get kicked out of church for wearing brown when I should have worn white or baring my legs instead of wearing pantyhose. Whatever the case may be, my weekly challenge is my Sunday outfit so when my friend, Minister of Style, mentioned sharing some of my Sunday outfits my blood pressure immediately shot up through the roof. But I took a deep breath and dove in. I approached this with intention on being comfortable, warm (I’m always cold), and making sure that whatever it is I’m wearing, it washes easily since the kids like to decorate my outfits with food, ink pens, just about everything. Here’s what I came up with. Let us know what you think.
What I’m Wearing:
• top: sample sale (something similar)
belt: sample sale (something similar)
• skirt: sample sale (something similar)
• shoes: Steve Madden (something similar)
• purse: Louis Vuitton Speedy 30

Leslie had some great links for you to see similar items like she was wearing but since I am technologically challenged (sorry Leslie), I couldn’t format it correctly so readers could access them.

Hi, ladies!
Sundays seem to be a struggle for me, too. I’m with my Sunday school bus kids, it’s hot, & I’m moving around constantly.
I’ve made it easy by sticking to “one piece” dressing: a dress. I’ve found that a dress allows ample movement, they are eas to accessorize, they are easy to put on, and they are feminine!
Thanks for the great post!
